This project was designed around a story of a bird that I made up for my assignment. The story is about a songbird (a nightingale) that loves to sing and dance for its family. It’s community did not appreciate the nightingales talent and a little bird told it of a theatre looking for a talented bird so it flew to the theatre. I merged this idea of the bird flying to where hearts are creative, passionate, and artistic with bright colors and photo treatments to engage, not just the theatre students and families, but also catch the attention of a wider audience. I designed informational and promotional posters, way finding and merchandise that are cohesive with the theme.
